BIOGRAPHY:
Some bands make it quick. Moving slowly like a hurt animal for a long time, Holmes isn’t one of them.
Some might call this laziness, but sometimes you just have to take it easy and let things happen in their
own time. You’ve got to have some patience, sometimes it’s as simple as that. That’s how we try to do this.
We have worked in the unknown in one form or another since 2002 when the band was formed in
dark and gloomy Vänersborg, Sweden with the mere intention of putting a few songs on tape. Occasional
live shows, one Swedish tour and several recording sessions took place during the following years, but now
things are beginning to happen at a steadier pace. During 2007 we released an EP with all new songs,
I Thought of the Law, and a retrospective CD, So Far, So So with songs from the older recordings, both
on our small and more or less self-managed label Häleri. We also made three successful tours with a total
of 40 shows and got the chance to play to people in most countries through out western Europe.
Now in August, 2008 we are waiting for people to hear the record that we’ve been writing songs for
in between touring the past years and recorded during this year, our debut album titled Wolves. We’ve
recorded it at Element Studio in Göteborg with Per-Ola Eriksson (Björn Kleinhenz, Boy Omega, The
Book of Daniel, etc.) and Martin Lundmark (Audrey, September Malevolence, etc.) and it’s released by
Black Star Foundation (Tiger Lou, Pg. Lost, The Book of Daniel, etc.). We hope that you will like it!
